On October 23, 2021, partner Elizabeth Calora was inaugurated as the President of Washington Women Lawyers (WWL), Washington’s largest organization dedicated to furthering the full integration of women in the legal profession and promoting equal rights and opportunities for women. This year is particularly special for the organization, as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Calora has been actively involved in WWL for a number of years. Her previous roles within the organization include:
- President-Elect, 2020-2021
- Secretary, 2019-2020
- Annual Event Chair, 2018-2019
“For decades, the members of Washington Women Lawyers have worked to break barriers and promote the advancement of women in law. As a beneficiary of WWL’s work, I am proud to lead this organization in its 50th year,” Calora said.
