Biography

James Snell brings together strong legal skills and a commitment to advocating for people who have suffered harm. James attended the University of Washington School of Law and earned undergraduate degrees in American Ethnic Studies and Political Science at the UW. As a member of the Tacoma legal team at PCVA, attorney Snell handles different injury cases, including: car accidents, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice cases, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, and more.

James’ passion for justice is rooted in experience. Before pursuing his legal career, he dedicated five years to nonprofit work, where he witnessed firsthand the transformative power of direct advocacy in people’s lives. These experiences strengthened his resolve to create positive social change and equipped him with the skills to effectively communicate complex issues.

During law school, James distinguished himself as a Peggy Browning Fellow and participated in the Moderate Means Program. This work reinforced his determination to leverage the legal system as a tool for addressing injustice and remedying harm.

James channels his energy toward representing clients who need a dedicated advocate by their side. He understands that behind every case is a person, and he is committed to being the strong voice they deserve in their corner.

In his free time, James enjoys birding and playing sports. His favorite bird to see in the wild is the green heron, and his love of soccer and baseball has led to him breaking all four limbs.
