Tacoma-based attorney Loren Cochran is a partner at Pfau Cochran Vertetis Amala PLLC. He represents injured victims in complex personal injury lawsuits. Loren’s practice focuses primarily on child abuse and neglect, as well as catastrophic injuries. Loren has represented students who were sexually abused at schools, children abused and neglected in the foster care system and vulnerable children and adults left unprotected by state social service agencies. He also represents individuals who have been severely injured or killed in motor vehicle collisions, bus crashes, faulty elevators, and other traumatic accidents. Loren has been selected as a SuperLawyer from 2014-2016. Prior to joining PCVA, Loren was a trial lawyer with the law firm Gordon Thomas Honeywell in Tacoma and served as general counsel for the television program America’s Most Wanted, and as an attorney for The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. Before obtaining his law degree, Loren worked as television producer with award winning investigative news teams in Seattle, Tampa, and Boston. Loren is a proud graduate of the University of Washington and the Boston College Law School. He is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
