Jessica E. Burrus
Jessica joined the Seattle team in September of 2018. Her work focuses on the firm’s commitment to the representation of adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Jessica worked at the firm as a receptionist and as a legal assistant prior to attending law school.
Jessica grew up in Seattle, Washington, and attended law school at the University of Washington. During law school, she participated in the Technology Law and Public Policy Clinic and spent a summer working as an intern with Senate Committee Services at the Washington State Senate. She worked as the Chief Articles Editor of the Washington International Law Journal and published a comment titled, “ ‘So far as war allows’: Why the Al Mahdi Conviction is Unlikely to Stem the Pace of Cultural Destruction Perpetrated by Non-State Actors.” Jessica is thrilled to begin her legal career with the team that inspired her to go to law school.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys movies, sketching, and pub trivia.
