Ecklund, et al. v. Manke – $65,000 Settlement

About the case

Myran Tahran owned property downhill from Manke Timber Company.  On January 9, 2009, a timber road on Manke’s property failed as the result of its negligent construction and maitenance.  The failure caused a massive landslide to roar down the side of a mountain in Lewis County and smash into Tahran’s property.  The damage was appraised at $95,000, and PCVA settled his claim for $65,000.
